COWLS AND GUARDS

There are various types of cowls and bird guards available and we supply and fit the appropriate type. For flues that work well with no "downdraft" problems, a bird guard is all that is required to prevent birds nesting.

Where "downdraft" is encountered i.e. smoke puffs into the room, an anti-downdraft cowl is fitted. This prevents rain and birds entering the flueway and assists the removal of smoke from the flue.

All are supplied and fitted at fixed costs, one price for all areas.
